1. Not that I know of, maybe some obsure mob in Japan do but its unlikely, and finding them and affording the unit they sell will be the first 2 miracles towards your sainthood !! ![Smile](images/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif)
2. As I understand it the 4E-FTE in at least the EP90 Starlet has two buttons on the dash for (something like) low (5 psi) and high (9 psi) boost.
3. This I don't know but looking at most other Toyota turbo's, going past 11-12 psi regularly in an otherwise unmodified engine means that you are likely to experience bang, smoke, oh bugger sooner rather than later.
4. Can't help here either, Google should become your new best friend.
Cheers,
Mitch.

thanks mitch for your help. I was acutally thinking of upgrading the turbo to a turbo that comes of a 200sx s15 what are your thoughts on that? If anyone has some usefull information on modifying this engine or any info there is to know about it that would be great.

An upgrade is certainly an option as the turbo on a Starlet / Glanza is a tiny thing, but I would not go too far as it will outflow the engine pretty quickly. The early CT26 or the 200SX unit would be fine IMHO. I can't help you with any other mods mate, I have not had a close look at this motor.
Cheers,
Mitch.

Here's an Idea if you've got money to burn and want an extra boost.
Try putting in an electric supercharger in line with your turbo. This will eliminate the Turbo lag, compensating for the time it takes the turbo to kick in.
Also handy for when you want that extra bit of power, only downfall is you need to wait for the batteries to recharge and it’s very pricey.
Take a look at: http://www.boosthead.com/home.php
