	| FARKING WAMBATS | Sat, 29 May 2004 11:47 | | |
	| I was crusing to QLD on wednesday night hedding up the putty road when a FARKING WAMBAT decided to jump out in front of me I cliped the basted wich sent of into the gravel wich started a chain reaction it went like this 1. the car slides sidways for about 5 meters
 2. then it descides to go strait (for the trees)
 3. I jump on the brakes to get it slide up the road when it started to slide backwards
 4. Then we hit a couple of little trees ending up in a ditch about 8 foot deep with just the front bar at road height after getting out to find that we were on a 75 degree angle and falling flat on my face I ran around the car like a lonatic checking if my wife and kids were ok I realised that we were not getting out with out any help.
After about 45 min A truck came down the road wich pulled the car out ( I could have kissed him) and helped me check for dammage.
And after all that I think the FARKING WAMBAT survived I had a look for it but could not find it anywere.

So I would just like to say that there are some bloddy good truckies out there.

P.S My dad wont let me borrow his car anymore

	| Good you hear your ok,
I remember when we had the fires here and I was working out at uriarra settlement watching the choppers at night. The guy I was working with was telling me A wombat walked out in front of him while he was on his way to work (he rides a road bike)so he kicked it in the head whilst doing 80k's I had to use all my strength to not laugh and tell him how full of shit he was!!

Do you know what would have happened to his foot if he connected with a wombat at 80km/h? It would have totally fucked his ankle up! Full of shit that guy.

	| Siktoy - Glad to hear you & your family are OK dude.. Wombats can cause some serious damage to cars/people & I've heard some nasty stories about people going off Putty Rd at night and not having anyone around for miles to get any help.. | |
