easy as PIE

that nylon hose goes to the BACK of the gauge, use the supplied fittings to ensure a tight fit.

now find a hose on your throttle body that has vacume/boose pressure going through it. (theres always a couple) then use that T piece, cut the line and insert the T piece, then hook up the nylon hose to that to supply the gauge with vac/boost signal.

easy.

Looks like it has a wire coming out the back, which i guess would go to your lights circuit. (Positive)
the body of the guage should also be earthed probably through the mounting bracket.

Have fun

im mounting it with a guage pod infront of an air vent (but not up high like a dickhead).. spoke to charles last night and he gave me a pretty good run down.. basically what i was after was the pressure hose side of things and which fittings go in what.

Thanks Smile

i guess you were born knowing how to install a boost guage, everyone has to start somewhere you cockhead. how are people meant to start learning how to do stuff if they are not given any help. you have to start with simple stuff (like putting in boost guages) before you go onto more complex things.

How do you LEARN, by doing! seriously you guys have issues if you expect that its unreasonable for someone to at least TRY to fit the gauage before runing off for help!! for fucks sake did you guys ask for help puting a jigsaw puzzle together as kids or just have a go?

Problem solving is not opening the box and freaking out at 17 pieces (a 3-5yo jigsaw puzzle would probably have more bits to it!)

if you had seen any of the threads ive posted in the last say 5 weeks you would realise i dont have a car to try it on(ive made that pretty clear in my bitching).. my car has been in the workshop for 6 weeks.. hence i was trying to atleast get a decent gist of it to give it a go in my car WHEN I get it back.
no doubt I would have tried to put it in my car if I had it.
so what do u want me to try and fit it to?
my mums magna?
haha
maybe i should have made it clear my car is still not home yet, then again most people just help and dont bother being bastards Razz

i understand how it works
i was more asking about the connection of the actual fittings along the lines... i know how it all works.. just didnt know what fittings went where... and especially where the little cone ones went.. the concept is easy.. installation will be easy.. just need to know the parts
i looked up google.. and all they told me is what i already know..
