the books were awesome
the movies were okay, didn't come close to the books tho

i have read books 3, 4 and 5, and own both the first 2 movies, i have philosophers stone special edition with all the musical scores on a seperate CD, it is in a box thats supposed to look like a book sitting on a shelf

Come on everyone love harry potter, i haven't seen the movies or read the books but from the titles i can tell they must be good.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stoned.
Well u know that ones loaded with drugs.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets.
Some Bondage and sex in that one i would believe.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
And he graduates to kidnapping.
Well there u go Drugs, Kinky Sex and Kidnapping, i don't know how these are suitable for children to read but i guess they have to lear about life at some stage.
Oh and i believe the next one is Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire, sounds like a good acid trip to me.

never got into the books
too easy a read, i like a bit of a challenge(most of the time)
the moofies, saw the first one on foxtel...havnt bothered with the other
tell ya what, i'll lay money down on this...but i reckon that harry potter kid in the movie will be seriously pulling the roots soon!

Granted anyone that has read the books, if they didn't like the books they would have put them down after the first chapter or page.
So ur saying someone that says Harrypotter is ghey on the forums is like a closet gay, they just aren't willing to come out and say it.
I red a chapter and watched about 20 mins or the first harry potter and thought is was for a younger age group, so i stopped.

I haven't read the books but they seem alright from initial glance, I've only seen the first movie...and while I could go into denial, I'd say it was reasonably enjoyable, can't get rid of the little kid inside me I guess 
And Hermione is just a kid, definitely not rootable
