Its for a Sprinter, so its a RWD....

Thanks
Steve

Actually, I think I met you today at the go-karts. I rocked up for a short while and then had to leave. On the way home the 4A punched 2 nice big holes on either side of the block. You might of seen my Sprinter on the side of the Monaro if you were heading north...

Nah mate, I was in Sydney all weekend, but there's far too many Phil's in the CCG, so I wouldn't be surprised if you met at least 2 of them! Very Happy

I pulled the 4AC out of my AE71 (RWD) a couple of weeks ago. It was running fine except it seems a bit lean until you step on it, light load it surges a bit (definately carby related). Compression tested 175psi on all 4 cylinders, so the motor is healthy enough, you could just swap over the carby from yours onto this one, probably be a good idea to swap your water pump over also, as it didn't seem to be circulating water very well.

Cheers

How much would you like for it?
I bought it last friday for not much, and the engine was rattling like nothing else. I knew the engine was on its way out, so i was giving it a bit on the weekend, then just cruising at 100kmh it looks like a con-rod has let go and bashed holes out either side of the block.
I'll probably take photo's of it, cos they're decent sized holes....

Cheers

ToyCam: Just come and get it mate, it's wasting space at my place, I didn't think anybody would want one, and was going to throw it out soon.

Email me at philt18@netspeed.com.au to arrange pickup.

Cheers
