go-kart and drag day Sun, 30 May 2004 10:38 Go to next message
i was thinking about another drag day and go karting too.

as u may know there is a big go-kart track next door, and my sister does the books for them and i may be able to get cheaper runs.

then after we finish we can go to the drags

how does that sound

Re: go-kart and drag day Sat, 10 July 2004 02:28 Go to previous messageGo to next message
but Phil said he might be able to get it a little cheaper for us Smile

I don't think I would go if it is just the go-karts. I can't justify a 2 hour drive just for go-karts when I could go 15mins to the ones up here Smile sorry people.

If this is going to be a little while, my car might be back on the road and we could do the drag day as well. However, if other people are racing I would love to come and watch!

willowbank - right outside the side entrance to willowbank - plus on a big event their carpark is close to the road.

Hey guys were u thinking about doing it in NSW or QLD, cos if the event is in Qld there is are special section allocated to queensland events and cruises. This section is mainly for NSW cruises and events.

Re: go-kart and drag day Thu, 15 July 2004 11:56 Go to previous messageGo to next message
i grabbed some brochures last time i was at willowbank...

assuming a group of 12-15 drivers (10-19 for brisbane), X minutes hire of driving time:
ipswich kart hire- $55/driver/45min - $70/driver/60min
brisbane kart hire - $60/driver/45min - $75/driver/60min

Both require $5 licence (valid for 12 months)
both offer a 'raceplan' for group bookings.
both have 2-stroke clubmans but ipswich also has Rotax carts...

i'll cross post this to the Qld section for us mexicans who don;t look in this part of the forum...
