what size 17 inch tyre fits a 1990 ae92 corolla sx or seca

hi i just brought some rims, and the tyres rub on the shocks on my sx i was wondering what size tyres do you guys use on your rollas, the rim size is 17x7 and the tyres size is 215/40 do you guys reckon 205 will fit with out rubbing?

hi eddy, i had 205's on mine fine, if u got the rims second hand they might be the wrong offset btw, havent 4gotten u, still trying to trace my mate about the tacho bit (in NZ at the mo apparently)

yeh - make sure you got the right offset. I bought some 16"s for my sx rolla but they were from a Honda and the offset was wrong. Had to sell them again because I didn't want to use spacers. Oh well - live and learn.
