G'day all,
Well my ae92 seca unfortunately has a 4afc so i was wondering if someone could list all the things i would need to make it a stock 4afe and their prices (from a wrecker or the 4 sale forum, NOT new (unless they are cheap new anyway)
alone the gain would be about 10kw, 1.5sec off 0-100, but then coupled with a decent CAI and a bigger exhaust, extractors might make the increase quite reasonable.
thanks

When u start talking bout putting on a zaust, extractors and the like why not save this money by a 100kw 4age and have more power and a higher redline

well, yes i'd love to do that (well i had a 4agze in mind ) but it really costs alot more than extractors and zorst, cos a) i have to buy a front cut usually, and b) i need to buy extractors and a zorst for the new engine any way

mmm yeh i guess, i dont know how similar the 4afe and the 4afc are but i assume that the only diff is one is carby and the other is EFI. so if thats the case i imagine pulling all the gear off a 4afe engine and wacking it onto your engine should do the trick. so u'd need what inlet manifold, computer, a fuel injected fuel tank with fuel pump inside and lines or you could go a surge tank sorta setup. and a half a day wiring it up so it works properly.
Any one feel free to tell me im talking absolute bullsh*t
best bit tho is after about a month when the power bug bites you again your halfway there to converting to the 100kw 4ag or the gze for that matter
