i had a similar flat spot on my 4ac in my rolla 2.5k-3.5k then u feel it get up i chucked in a full tank of premium down my mechanic advanced the timing till it started pinging at full load then backed it off a little bit problem solved and it runs like a dream...well cept for the carby problem doh! only prob is if u go cheap and put regular unleaded in it starts to ping when u give it sum i'd recomend trying it see if it fies the problem and if it turns out to be too expensive for premo just retard te timing back to stock

a 3" steam pipe zorst would be too heavy. u want a 3" mandrel bent mild steel or stainless steel exhaust to suit.
you'd prolly want small dia steam pipe to make up the manifold to hold the turbo.
RWD inlet for top radiator hose? plate that goes at the back of the head for a RWD config RWD inlet manifold? 365cc 4AGZE injectors and fuel pressure reg ect.
just a few suggestions......also think about your gearbox is a T50 going to take the punishment?

The RB20 turbo is an T3-size as well, not T28. Probably a nice size anyway.

Hmmm, mine doesn't seem to run too hot, even with a single row rad (dunno exactly what its out of! I think its AL25, with twin fans). I also like the see the oil a (bit!) hotter than the coolant, although not excessively so.

speaking of oil coolers, where can you get a adapter/sandwich plate for a 4AGE/ZE with a feed for an oil cooler? where would it feed back into the motor after the cooler?

the ae82 4ag has a factory oilcooler and it uses a sandwich plate to feed the oil to the cooler then the oil returns to the sump. so try your local wreaker 4 the parts needed

find someone that has put a ze in their aw-11 mr2. the factory ge comes with the oil cooler feeder, if they didnt use it for the ze, you could probably pick one up reasonably cheap.

The RB20 & 25 series of turbo actually have no official sizes, although the RB20 one is approximately the same as the T28, only slightly larger. The common mis-conception i can see is the fact that they use the T03 style flange which can confuse some people.
I picked my turbo up my today, for the meagre sum of $200. Its the Ball Bearing Garret from an R32 Skyline, 'tis also in perfect condition, was never boosted, no shaft movement and very few km's.
The head and turbo flange plates I made for free. Just went to the local scrap yard and found two 10mm mild steel offcuts which were the perfect size, by fluke. Then with some hard work and a few blisters they've come up perfect.
Tracking down a turbocharger:
I'd been trying to track down the turbo for a while, they seem to go pretty quickly. Then i came up with a winner. Many R32 skyline owners upgrade to the RB25 turbocharger. So I jumped on the SkylinesDownunder forums and asked for one. Within one day I had 4 being offered to be for less than $300.
