Oops, my bad, yes 0.016, I was thinking of the spark plug gap, not the points, as "My memory did not serve me correctly". (IMSMC)

I just did a Google on it - the answer is 0.018 inches or 0.45mm.

2 thou is not too bad from an abused memory.

Took about 15 seconds to find the answer too Razz

My rule of thumb (with a dodgy memory) was always 0.08 plugs and 0.016 points...so there you go. And just goes to show that google is your friend. Thanks YelloRolla.

Mitch, to be honest, I would've done them at .016 myself and I would never have bothered looking it up.

For plugs - .8 to .9 mm.

the bible says,(toyo repair manual)
points gap - 0.045mm/0.018in
dwell angle 50 - 54deg
or heel gap 0.4 -0.5mm/0.0016 - 0.020in
