I have so many windows but the runners have scratched them all for my ra40? All the cars i have found have scratches where the rubbers have worn out on the window rollers.
Has anyone aroudn the perth area got and RA40 windows they could spare without these scratches? OOORRRR does anyone know of a way you can recondtion the windows? get the scratched out before tinting?
Thanx
Steve

Will have to look for windows (parts car), but think they will be the same as yours...

Use some extra cut car polish and rub it on the scratches using a small circular motion. Repeat a few times. This works really well on fine scratches. If they are deep, then your f$%^ed.

Make sure you remove all polish before you get the windows tinted!!!!!!

Nah, only one good drivers window. However if you look really hard at in the sunlight you can see some very fine scratches. These would come out OK, depends how bad yours are.

You can get the scratches taken out proffesionally, I can't remember the name of the company but perhaps if you gave NOVUS Windscreen repairs a ring (They have a branch close to you in malaga).
I have seen it done on shop windows that have been graffiti scratched.
Cheers
