people100 has a set he prbly doesn't really need or want (send him a PM).
also is there a particular reason that you want MX62 struts? In my experience they have very similar camber to RA60, SA63 and RA65 struts with RA60 etc having larger brakes ex factory and better aftermarket spring support...what I am saying is that if you have a situation that you think will fit MX62 struts, I say RA60 etc struts will fit and give you bigger brakes and better spring choice.

i was just using this tech doc
http://www.toymods.org.au/sprinter_front_brakes
and it was sayin to use GX60 or MX62 struts and brakes. THese will be goin into my KE70 probably with the KE70 spring and top perch and strut top from the KE70 so that it fits nicely into the KE70.
do u think the other ones u mentioned would fit??
what would be best type to use, and will it still be able to be done the same way as the techdoc says? What are some comparative disc sizes if u dont mind doin my homework for me
im looking to keep the KE70 springs as they are brand new and very good quality and im not keen on takin mr angle-grinder to them to keep the ride height correct, so will these struts keep the same height as the ke70 ones?
alotta questions i know, sorry guys but yeah im lookin for the best solution without a whole heap of pissing around and manufacturing.
thanx guys

Read it
RA6X struts have better brakes (use the DBA catalog...but from memory they are 10mm big in dia and 2mm wider than MX62?), and pretty well the same strut inclination angle (i.e. camber), and fit where ever MX62 struts do.
And if you want to go aftermarket brake upgrades have a search for MA61 stuff (which is applicable to RA6x and SA63 but NOT MX62 ).
Sorry I is too lazy to hold your hand any more than that

thanx wilbo was a big help, i might do some googling or find that dba catalogue and try and find the sizes, im thinking that as im puttin these bigger brakes into the KE70 im not gonna need to go aftermarket, just factory off a bigger car should do the trick
im thinking when it all comes to being done ill go with whatever i can lay my hands on so thanks for some more options.
i dont spose u could tell me what cars these are out of RA60, SA63 and RA65. i may just go google it, its already hot enough without flames
well thanx again mate, ill do some research

Ha, you are kidding me right, 2 seconds and google would have given you the answer.
They are 81-85ish model celicas, the last of the RWD's.

awesome, more thinking out loud than anything here, but ill say it and maybe u will be able to correct me, or agree with me, but what i can basically do is, according to that tech doc i need st141 or ra65 steering arms to fit the struts. so what i can do is just take the ra65 struts and steering arms, that seems to come together quite nicely really, ill have to hit the wreckers in a few weeks i think
thanx wilbo uve been a great help

pretty sure that if you try to bolt up RA6X or any other steering arm that bolts to a RA6X / MX62 strut that it will not fit your ball joint. I believe that your ball joints are too small.
I might be wrong on that
Indeed, head to the wreckers and start getting first hand info!

Avoid MA61 struts, they will give even worse (read +ve camber) than RA6x struts.
Tho by all means get some parts off the MA61 for me
