we have aquired a sprinter shell and we have a deposit on a 2jzgte so we shall be starting the build very soon. it will be running on alcohol. the shell is stripped and ready to go and the donor motor will be fully rebuilt when it arrives.the car when its finished will probably race in the super sedan class.but theres still a long way 2 go so im not sure about the completion date.
we will be selling all the bits we dont need. so we will have a few ae86 and 2jzgte bits 4 sale soon

That is a really cool project man. This is the kind of thing that I dream about, plan and just don't do!
I wish you luck with your project.

Nice! One question though, why alcohol? Are you looking at less than 9sec 1/4s?

oil prices are always rising
the price of potatos stays the same
we're hoping for 9s
there's still much researching to be done but i would say alcohol is the best bet

it depends what we do with the rear end. my sprinter fits 8.5 inch slicks under the guards. so i would say after its mini tubbed it will fit 10s easy

what is involved in fitting the C4? Are the output shafts the same on the 2jz? Then you would need a custom bellhousing?
Does anyone else make them besides Dellow as there has been quite a bit of bad talk about them lately?

dont use a c4, they arent strong enough. this is what stopped the 351 xd ute at dubbo racing.
FMX is the toughest ford box, or turbo 400 (i have one spare!)
