I'm planning to drop a 4age 100KW into sprinter, I'm in process of searching for an engine and other bits and pieces. I was wondering people who have done the conversion, how much did it cost all up ? I guess it will depends how much you get all the parts for.... even a rough estimate will be helpful !!!
Need to know whether you are doing the work yourself or getting someone to do it for. Also whether your starting out with the 86kw 4age or 4ac motor as this a bit of difference in price. Then plenty of people should be able to give you an idea as many have done this conversion.
There is a fella selling a complete 4a-gze conversion from his crashed sprinter. I think he was asking around $4k for it but don't quote me. Its a fair bit more than the price of a front cut but I imagine that it took a fair bit of work to get it all to fit and run well so its probably worth it.
