Buying things second hand - other places to look

I was wondering where else I could look for 2nd hand head unit (CD) and amp besides these forums and t/post.

Try eBay, you can also get good things new and for a fair bit less. Got my rockford fosgate amp for $300 and retails about $550

Thanks, have had a quick look at ebay but rather idea of having look before you buy. Some things on ebay go for too much, I guess you can get lucky though.
