Painting Interior

Hi all,
I am sure this has been covered before, but I tried searching, and I had no luck.
I will be painting the interior of my RA23, all of the dash and some other little bits.
I would like to know what sort of paint is best suited for this application and how to prepare the surfaces for painting,
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated

Go to your local automotive accessories place and pick up vinyl/plastic paint. There are a few brands of it eg. VHT
http://www.speco.com.au/vht_vinyl.html
Like any painting, clean surface properly finishing with something like methylated spirits that wont leave behind any oily film.
If the surface is continually rubbed then the paint will eventually rub through (well at least that is what I have found).
Hope this is helpful for you.

If you have your interior stripped, I recommend going the POR-15 option. This paint is crazy stuff, worth every penny knowing that your ride won't rust. Pull out the windows and go to town on the doors and sills. It is a system that comes with cleaner, metal ready (zinc phosphate/rust converter), and then the paint itself. Instructions are really good too. Do a search on this forum, its been discussed a fair bit before.
