Hi guys,
Has anyone replaced the steering rack boots in their MA70 or GZ/MZ series Soarer? I've checked everywhere i can think of and now i'm here
Looking to replace the steering rack boots on my MZ20 Soarer as they're RS, went to Toyota and they told me the usual "imported car piss off" business until I asked for boots made for the MA70 (i'm %99.9999 sure they'll fit my car) He tells me theres two different part numbers listed for the MA70 and i'd better find out exactly the right ones as they're $56 a side!
SO my question is.... does anyone know the correct part number, or alternatively used a different method to replace theirs other than Toyota Genuine gear?
Cheers guys!
Dan

I'd recommend talking to a suspension shop, they'll be able to get you the right ones and can probably get non-genuine (read: heaps cheaper) items as well.

I used some generic/multifit ones for my MA70. They have different sized shoulders and you just trim them to the size you need. They were pretty stretched at full lock, but only cost a few bucks...

I had a sent of Holden ones put in by place that did my suspension, they were like $30 each plus labour (they were doing other stuff at time so just got it added in.
