FS: Cheap 6.5inch TV's, 12v VCR and Power Inverter Fri, 11 June 2004 11:12 Go to next message

I have a few things to sell from my daily driver since i'm moving onto some new things. They are as follows.

Teac 6.5 inch car LCD monitor.

Model number LCM-645. I have two of these for sale which I had in the headrests of the car. Can also be mounted in the dash etc. They also come with a case which lets you mount it onto the headrests easily. They have brightness adjust built in. They are both in good condition. It is a much higher quality monitor than those cheap ones they sell at autobarn etc. Quality is comparable to my Clarion indash monitor that I have on the car.

Paid: $500 each around a year or so ago. The cases also cost $20 each.

Sell: $210 each or $400 for both with cases etc.

Teac in car VCR

Takes 12V input. In good nick except for a few scratches on the face. Comes in carpeted enclosure.

Paid: $350 for VCR alone

Sell: $150 for VCR and encosure

DC to AC Power Inverter

150W Dicksmith Electronics brand

Paid: $130

Sell: $55

Let me know if you have any questions.

Where in Melbourne?

Is there a mounting bracket on the back of the screen? If I wanted to mount it free standing on a flat horizontal surface could it be done?

Is the inverter a pure sine wave or modified square wave?

There's a slit sort of thing at the back which mounts onto a bracket so it can be mounted free standing.

Here is the specs on the power inverter:

DC Input Voltage: 10-15 Volt (12V Nominal)
Output Frequency: 50Hz + 1%
Output Wave Form: Modified Sine wave
Output Power: 160W (surge) 150W (continuous)
AC Output Voltage: 230-240V AC
Low Battery Alarm: Below 10.5V DC
Weight: 700g
Efficiency: 90%
No Load Current Draw:
Replacement for M 5100

Yeah I just looked on the site and saw the special. These things have dropped so much in price since around a year ago. Wasn't trying to rip anyone off, just not aware of the sale.

I'll drop the price to $35 then.

SIMDOG- im near Doncaster so around 30 min away from you. I'm in the city during the day so I can meet there if more convinient.
