You sure it wasn't a Maxima? They are the only ones that I have regularly seen with keycode locks. Confused

last time i locked my keys in my car, i did it twice in one day. RACQ throught it was a prank call the second time i called them, what made it worse was that i was on a private road, so i couldnt explain my location properly Laughing

since i've had remote central locking i obviously haven't locked MY keys in MY car, but whenever i drive another car i'm paranoid about it cos i have a few times. bad habits from central locking i guess.

The Nissan Maxima had the keypad lock and standard key hole setup factory on some of their cars. It was all part of totally new style of body computer setup that utilised only (apparently) two wires that ran around the car and all axileries ran off these wires controlled by the computer. No idea how it worked.
But I was always interested in the idea.
