no probs with them
just make sure it will suit yr car engine as they dont modify them anymore
if its new tell them what engine and how many coils etc

They modify the LT series not the MT.

No. If you are buying a second hand one it is likely that it was programmed for another car. Now, you can get an LT series reprogrammed for a cost, but the MT is hardcoded to whatever it was set to. Like my MT is set to 4AGE and cannot be changed.

does it matter with the turbo>? like will a MTX-8 4age computer be able to run a turbo? (im pretty sure they would be, just checkin)

I think that's wrong,I had an MT changed from an Alfa V6 GTV to an 4AGE with multi coil, costed around $150 and that incl replacing the broken Map sensor nipple (was broken off)... but as Sideshow said...

But I sure if the right guy ran and hassled Dom, things could be done

multi coils = better spark distribution.
nothing wrong with microtech ECU's. good value for money.

hey will we arent talkin bout tuning them for another engine
when u order a microtech they modify the hardware to suit the engines type of dizzy signal
ohms of the injectors
odd fire or normal fire
for sure some ecus will run diff engines
but not every microtech will run every engine
u have to get the inside of it modified to suit the engine
and from what i have heard they are not doin it now
for yr every day normal joe blow
dont know if they do it for others
dont forget they are very busy so they are concentratin on new stuff and new technology
so ofcourse the old stuff is slowly fading away

45aken,
it depends on what dizzy you have in your engine, if it is a 86kw motor you cant run coil packs with out changing the dizzy, if it is a 100kw/GZE there is no problems with the coil packs,
as i have said in the PM's bring the car over and i will have a look at it and tell you what you need/prices etc.
