I have GT vents on my 22, you will need two extra holes drilled into the bonnet further down theraised parts of the bonnet as the vents have 4 screws (two of which fit the regular mounting holes). You could always remove the two extra screws but it wouldn't be as stable.

the end part of the vent(near headlight)back has its own base on the vents wich vents the air back to the original size hole in the bonnet.

Thanks for that. So the GT vents dont aid cooling in any way at all.

nope apparently not, and they don't even pretend to help cooling like the LT ones

I'm sure they channel a little bit of air but nothing I would call WOW. Still they look tough

so the bonnet on the gt does actually have holes cut thru it, not just fake vents sittin on top? cos if there's no cut out then it definately aint aiding in cooling

to get any benefit you have to gut them, they have this metal plating under the vents that do nothing,i took that out and then extended the hole about another half a length down towards the front of the bonet and noticed a bit of air flowing more freely through, but in general they dont do much..

Hi,
There should be a scoop part under the vents that helps the air flow. The right hand side (ie carbie side) has the scoop, and the left hand side (exhaust) is merely a hole, without any internal scoop. But I'm talking about an RA25, so maybe the longer vents of the TA series is different.
