this was a recall on my apexi RSM its setup corectly and as far as i know very accurite i think this happend when i was going sidewayz in second gear and i sware to you i have not altered this
look at the peak RPM (top one)

Is it running ok? I'd be a bit sceptical about that piece of fandangle whizz-bang-ery dude. How is that possible when you are going sideways unless you changed down from 3rd to 1st or something. Don't you have a rev limiter?!

highest revs i had ever taken it too was 8grand!!! i was in second gear??? i dont understand it!!!! this thing is very acurite to my knowlage???

You DO have a rev limiter, yeah? Therefore you must have screwed up your shifting. Assuming of course this thing is accurate - you would have heard if the engine HAD spun this hard. Just a suggestion - rod bolts really don't like this kind of treatment, and if they fail in a few days/weeks time, well at least you can be expecting it

well lets see..... 170km/h in 2nd gear and 4.3 diff gears...
that would be close to redline in 3rd i would have thought...

i was thinking it but it sounded like the engine was reving of its head i cant say man but its scary shit i've gone and purchased some new oil filters plugs ect just incase!!!

Surely the valves would be bouncing like crazy at those revs. I know of some worked 1J's and they tend to peak at 9,000rpm... not 11k. I'm thinking something is a little amiss in that reading too.

Plugs and filter probably won't do too much When I did the same thing to my 4AG, the rod bolts gave up a week later, 600+km from home

considering my old 2001 lancer would read speed faster than i was travelling under wheel spin, and being of a modern age, ive learnt not to take to many gauge readings to do with rpm and or speed when the wheels are spinning.
not like the gauges are made to read under that specific set of circumstances plus it cant be that far out from your dash tach and i assume you would be getting same signal for both.
i mean freakier things have happened but i wouldnt read too much into it.
just my 2cents
