Arch, there is no upload button... Only on the Cars and Parts for Sale sections.
What you will need to do is host the pics somewhere. Start up a Cardomain page and link to that.
And, yeah... You'll get no sympathy with that size font.
You're a Camry driver... you're lucky we are even bothering to reply to your thread.

JETSPEEDCAMRY - Welcome to EliteMods
Unfortunately it's a little hard for us to take you seriously when you list a blitz turbo timer as a mod on what appears to be a non-turbo car. We aren't doubting the presence of your turbo timer, we are just doubting the point of it.
Secondly, a 3" cat back exhaust into a 5" inch tip on a car with standard exhaust manifold, and a slightly different air filter setup is
- Not going to give you 32 hp, and
- Going to sound pretty darn flat
Lastly - this is an internet forum, not your community church - so as much as I personally disagree with SIMDOG's approach and perhaps he should keep his useless comments to himself, we aren't here to love and support one another...SIMDOG is partly right, after all, have you thought about the point of a rear wing on a FWD car that doesn't see the track at 200km/h?
quote : JETSPEEDCAMRY | Tell me what u think of it!!!
| Now you know?
If you don't like what SIMDOG has to say then just ignore it ?

You seriously not taking the piss??
Quote: | The auto gearbox is technically a 4 speed auto, that is, a 3 speed with an overdrive switch. However, when in overdrive, depending on the speed, it tends too shift down again. At 60km/h, the overdrive is in stage 1, but if i accel to 100, the overdrive drops down the revs again, so it's like a 5 speed but not technically

What tha? You went from a 5 speed Auto, to a 3 speed, back to a 5 speed!!!
Anyways, I think the camry looks good, But I think you should research more. Lexus wasnt introduced till 1989...

You people were very cruel and quite ignorant. Although some of the modifiactions do seem a little sus or silly there is no need to openly laugh at him.
There is such a thing as a Lexus ES250, it is built on the sv21 camry chasis and uses the v6 engine from it, however this wasn't available localy and was only made in left hand drive. Instead australia got the updated version in 1992, the es300, which is based on a JDM camry chasis and 3l v6
Your gear box, as i understand it is similar to the automatic gear box on I4 camrys, which is the 4 speed version however i think that the v6 model has 2 different shift modes ("over drive"), which dictate at what engine speed the transmission changes gears.
Im not sure wether strut bars were fitted as stock on ES250s, however you will be hard pressed finding one, esp. here. Your best bet is to import an sv2l strut bar from the US, i got mine in a group buy from Megan racing about 6 months ago, smt_007 should have some details. Strut bar is much more effective if you change from stock suspension however

Hey dude, don't worry about having the piss taken... it happened to me and my RAV before. Just show up at a couple of events, make the presence felt and the objectives of your project, and voila! You'll have a few loyal followers (undoubtedly Camry drivers mostly ). I started off on my project back in Feb. '02 and here I am now, with a RAV4/GT-Four hybrid conversion waiting in the wings. Not to mention I'm frikkin broke because of it, but I'm hoping finances will improve soon enough. I'm hoping big things will come of my project, and I'm hoping the same for you and your quad-cam beastie. Have fun with it, and post up pics regularly.
Cheers.

JETSPEEDCAMRY - despite all the bagging out - i would genuinely like to see some updated pics of your camry!

You can send pics to my email:- djferraz at yahoo.com
Thanks mate!

ps. to all that critisise JETSPEEDCAMRY, i know where he's at.. some of us can't afford several thousand at the moment to plonk a performance engine in our cars. For those of you that can.. you're lucky and should appreciate what you have! But don't bag others cos they can't afford big engine mods ... it just nice to see someone modifying their car in anyway possible.

Actually the ES250 never existed in JP as far as I know.. only the 2000GT in the 1VZFE. The 2VZFE is an export model and the Lexus name has only now in 2004 ever appeared officially in JP.

The torque converter locks at anything above 77km/h and disengages below 73km/h regardless of load on the gearbox for the 3SFE version. Quite irritating when you are struggling to get up a hill. The Camry V6 had the gearbox where it can also lock its torque converter in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear... something the normal 3SFE powered gearbox could never do.

I like that Camry. I can't really comment on the performance on the V6 as never driven one but it would have to go. the 4 cyl 3S-FE is very responsive in mine and a great car to drive! so the V6 would have to fly! and every one who teased him, get a life! can't wait to see more pics of this beast at least he's done something original!

Nice ride u got there !!!!
VERY NICE!!
Seen it about 3 times passing my work, but u never stop to say hello!!!
Hope to see it at one of the meets!!
Yeah i was a bit suss about the 320nm of torque, say comparing that to a vs commodore which has like 320 or 340, and thats a 3.8 litre... dunno maybe toyota were really advanced with that, or else it could be a typo from the source!!!

So your saying that on a non-forced induction engine you produced, at the wheels no less, 128nm/L.
Perhaps you should sell this engine to ferrari or alternatively never go back to your mechanic.

Items that were/are a complete waste of money(imho):
-------------------------------------
- TRD 1.3 Radiator Cap
- Custom Auto shifter
- Niken Racing pedal set
- Autometer Vacuum Guages
- Electronic shift lights[kit from Jaycar Electronics] (green for 5000rpm and red for 6500rpm)
- New Alloy look handbrake lever
- Blitz Turbo timer integrated into dash
- Custom LED display panel showing- Engine Start, Drivegear, Cooling Fan and Spotlight indication.
- OOOGGAA Horn
- Blue LED dome light
- Green Neon glovebox light
- Front TRD and Rear Apex'i Shoulder pads
- Custom Bodykit w/ A1 Rear Skirt, D-Speed Side Skirts and Veilside 200SX Front
- Lancer Custom rear wing
- VS Commodore clear side turn signal indicators
- Honda Integra clear front indicators.
- MTEC Wiper Arms/Blades
- BlueVision Front headlamp bulbs
- Blue LED front parkers, rear licence plate lamps and reverse lamps
- Painted disc callipers in Heat resist Orange engine enamal (good stuff)
- Japanese brand sticker kit (Apex'i, Blitz, HKS etc etc)
- Blue Boot Neon (instead of normal light)
Items that arent so ricey, but some need to be (re)considered.
-------------------------------------------------- --------
- K&N Rampod Airfilter with Plastic Adaptor
- Tinted Windows (30% Sides, 20% Rear)
- Sports Steering wheel w/ Celica Boss kit.
- Full body 2-Pac respray in orignal color (Atlas Grey, 167)
- ANZ 17" Wheels w/ Silverstone P215 45 R17 tyres
- D2 Height, Ride and Camber adjustable springs and struts
- Catback exhaust exiting from standard manifolds, into hi-flow Catconverter, into small resonator, into second resonator, splitting to 2x XForce 5" Tipped Straight through mufflers.
The main things I like about the car is that its an uncommon import, and somethings are a nice touch, particularily the paintjob (nice one ). Rims are a nice upgrade also.
But I dunno. The car has been hit by a bag of rice. The wing imho ruined the whole look of the car. The amount of lights listed would be more than I would put on a Christmas tree. Alloy wipers are NOT a weight reduction. A Japanese sticker kit... need I say more.
If you focused the amount of attention you have put in so far into performance parts, then I will probably be impressed.
Sorry if this makes me sound like a cnut. I hope that this turns into a faster car *wink wink*
Cheers man,
James
PS. Get a manual conversion pronto!

Hehehehe. So true. I'm sorry, but advanced as it is, it is not making that much torque, perhaps it made that much if it was run in say 2nd or 3rd gear.
If he's said he's adjusted the base timing, thats fine, he can do that, but to say he's played around with the mixtures on the LOCKED factory ECU.

Hello to all.
Yes, I like ricey lookn cars, and thats why Ive put my attention into the aesthetics of the car.
I DON'T CARE for performance at the moment coz my engine is high on Km's and needs a rebuild....This car is my daily driver and i can't be bothered takn it off the road to rebuild the thing. So i've slowly added things to it for aesthetics only. Performance comes later. The main thing to me is that it is fun to drive. And that it is.
I don't give a s**t if u guys don't think it runs 320nm. It does, and ive got the test sheets to prove it. AND OF COURSE IT DOESN'T RUN 320NM IN FIRST GEAR, IT WOULD HAVE TO BE A F**KN SUPER ENGINE TO DO THAT. That is in 4th at 146km/h.. read my posts a little more closer.
The mixtures CAN be adjusted by tweakn various circuits and sensors in the car. The ECU is locked, yes, and that is why I can't do much more. Hence why i was thinkn of getn a Wold 3d ECU l8r on.
Im not postn any more stuff on this site, coz i think u guys are opinionated. You can't get a grasp on not bagn other peoples cars when u don't like that car or watever. Calln me ricey, or sayn that all my mods are a waste of money is cruel.
Goodbye.

You say, "The main thing to me is that it is fun to drive. And that it is." But yet you foul the whole thing up with shit lights, stupid f*ckign horns n big wank bloody wings that bolt on and dont change any realworld charcteristics anyway.
I think you are a sad little bastard who needs a reality check. The majority of us ARE opinionated. Everyone has an opinion, and you are just blinded by the negatives.

I didn't pick on your car, I just pointed out the fact you are gullible. It's an accomplishment when an engine breaks 100Nm/L at all.
As for the mixtures, unless he is playing around inserting resistors and shit to bend the sensor values, he can't tweak shit and it further highlights your gullibility.
I'm sorry if this seems harsh, I just wanted to make the point I didn't have a dig at your car, just pointed out an error that you didn't want to accept. When you know what you are talking about and want to come back to apologise because you were wrong and you found out we told you the right thing, please do. BTW, your dyno sheets mean shit dude sorry, you cant fool physics.
