I take it you mean the city of Sydney??? I'd be interested in that... Maybe we could go to Bondi and thru the Rocks... I suggest that we don't go to Brighton as there are a lot of nice cars in this club...

That friday is an official event night, rollerskating, so we shouldn't really organise anything for that night. Saturday or night would be good for me though, if we can get a group that's not too big, it should be quite fun, doing a bit of posing.

Good stuff mate, that sounds pretty good, and I totally agree with avoiding brighton & only passing through bondi. Very sensible, plus I would be embarrassed to be seen cruising through brighton.Maybe we could make it a little bit later, say around 9?
And after bondi, we could head to the space station (big shell/maccas near lane cove) for the final stop.
If we're going south through the tunnel, don't forget some toll money (and I'll try to remember my E-tag. So long, suckers!  )

The Space Station would be a mad idea for a last stop... Very close to home...
Sorry Karl... I didn't make the date though... That was already made up... You think it's a nice city cruise??? Cool... It's my first time at organising one so that's cool to hear... Also thanks Joel... I wanna a lady friend... But maybe I'll wait until my HSC is finished... Proly a good idea...
Just for a reminder... The City speed limit is 50km/h and through Bondi is now 40km/h...

Thornleigh is like 1.5 hours from the Gong (at the speed limit).
Basically head out somewhere near the Great Western Highway then keep going north for a while. I went on one Toymods cruise (quite similar to this one) ages ago starting from Thornleigh Maccas.
I could give better directions if you don't have any maps. I know how to get there by memory, but would have to pull out the old street directory for a better explanation.

cool i hope i'm there too just waiting on the engeneers report, then blue slip ggggrrrrrrr i'm freaken getting so impatient cause i'm waiting just on papers the car is complete !!!(well exept for the system which is out for obvious reasons....
hey did i tell you guyz the engineer thought i was asking him to do a shonky and turned me down...he looked at the car and thought i hadn't started doing any work yet...one of my biggest comlements i must admit...

 Im a regular of the city drives every riday do the brighton bondi cross rocks drive laps or whatever u wana call it  its alright to check out the cars n all, and havent had really any probs at bondi with cops ive seen em around but if u dont do something stupid u shouldnt get hasseld. my 2 cents ne ways

Well the cruise tonight wasn't too bad... Apart from the fact that we were late to North Head, we missed to turnoff to the tunnel, we didn't go to Bondi and we didn't make it to the Space Station... Oh well...
Thornleigh Maccas was a little packed as I didn't know that there was a HOT4s cruise meeting up there at the same time... So we left there before it got too crowded...
We headed down to Manly and up to the locked gate at North Head  ... After some jokes about the Guard and the chicks, we left there and headed into the City...
We got onto the Warringah Fwy and started going towards the tunnel/bridge lane split when Craig asked me to get some moolah out of the ash tray... While I was busying myselt there, Craig didn't see where Joel went to and so the two Seca's headed over the bridge instead of the Tunnel... The look on Joel's face was priceless when I told him that we wen't the wrong way... Not to worry...
So the Seca's headed down to The Rocks at Pier One under the Harbour Bridge... We stayed there until everyone met up again and headed a little further along the road away from the morons in their Commodores, Skylines and the like... We stayed there for the rest of the night watching the impatient pricks a.k.a. Taxi Drivers ... Like the one that overtook a car in a carpark and the one that nearly went into the side of a car at a roundabout...
There was also a little more funniness at The Rocks... Like the KE30 Corolla Sedan riding on the bump stops, the old Holden stopping in the middle of Hickson Rd and sitting on the brakes and doing a whopper of a burnout and all of the sik cars lighting it up around the roundabout...
After that, we all split up and headed home...
It ended up to be a good night and I can't wait for the next one...
Thanks go out to all the ppl that came, Craig for letting me ride wit him and to Joel for the lift home...
