Hey there, ive had twin spot calipers for about 2.5years and have never put them onto my ae82, i was just woundering what disc everybody use's with them, i have the original disc and was told to cut them down, this didnt work to well, im running ae92 hubs, what do ppl use?????

Most people use DBA743's. These have to be machined down in diameter as well, plus they have to be redrilled to suit a 4x100 stud pattern. Otherwise some people just get some custom made.

Be careful who you go to for your machining, the guy that did mine stuffed them, so I ended up selling my calipers.

how much do ppl roughtly charge to do all that?? im thinking of selling mine as well, how much did u sell yours for??

Rotors are about $200 each, I think, can't remember the last quote. Machining should be around $50-70. I'm not sure about redrilling. You'll also need pads if you don't already have any.

The problem is finding someone to do it for you, I asked about 7 different brake places, all of which told me that they don't do that. Finally found a guy and he stuffed them. Find an engineering place, they'll be your best bet as brake places don't seem to want to touch them.

DBA743SL was $197ea according to this reciept.
Redrilling and machining was done at a machine workshop/engineering shop. No brake shop would do it.
