my km's (distance driven) won't move on my dash???

since i put in my new dash the km's won't and havn't moved since i installed it. It is a digital dash and i don't know where i would check if something is unplugged, cut etc.
it's done like 186,000 so far
any ideas

If the speedo works, then one of the cogs is fucked.
Mine stopped at 199,999, and that was 40 something k kms ago

do you mean one of the cogs that turn the numbers? if so do i just pull it apart and swap it over cause i got a spare dash inwhich the km's worked on it?

if speedo doesnt work either speedo cable probably unplugged/broken/damaged..etc

no it's not the speedo everything works exept the display that tells me how much km's my car has driven

Had the same problem a while back...pull it apart and check out the cogs, try turn them forth and bak, if it still doesnt work just give it a good old bang
