Damaged suspension Wed, 16 June 2004 05:04 Go to next message

As some of you may know i had an accident

and my steering is pretty fukd it pulls to the left pretty badly

anyway the front wheels now sit about 2cm further back ,
the K-frame or sub - frame has been pushed back.

i cant see anything thats actually bent

what can i do to fix it?

Do i just undo all the suspension and re - set it or what?

or can i slap the engine on a new sub frame and put the shell over it.

any suggestions/help appreciated

Before you do anything get the beast onto a laser chassis aligner at any good suspension place or panel beater and find out exactly what part of the sub-frame is bent.
Could it be just be the lower control arms and the steering rods, or the struts ? Don't start trying to fix it until you know *exactly* what is broke.
Mitch.
