4AGZE 0r 4AGE 20V - which way to go.

Am currently in the process of planning engine conversion on AE92 'rolla and not sure which way to go. I am leaning towards 4AGZE but they seem to be getting hard to get and am thinking about 4AGE 20V Blacktop and 6 speed as they seem to be easier to get. Also should I wait for AE92 frontcut as the conversion would be easier or is an AE101 just as good an option. Any ideas or opinions?

i would say a 6-speed would be harder to find than a gze, plus gze = more torque = win

this is a very common question here in this forum.
Youll be more happy with a 4agze, more torque from the lower rev range, while the 20v its all the way up the top and still those engines are overrated from toyota, a guy from the club4ag forum posted a dyno figure of the flywheel the vt solenoid off and on, in on mode it didnt match toyotas figures of that engine, its running 7hp lover from the original figure(blacktop)
I just dont no how to post pictures from my hard drive to this forum or i could show you the figures paper, does someone know?
Not saying its a bad engine, a 20v levin with carbon fiber doors and bonnet, tittanium exhuast is still on my wish list.
It will cost the same(silver top is cheaper).
