 Steering Lock. How to change(if possible) MX83

Is there any (simple) way of changing the steering lock on an mx83. Im sick of low speed boat like steering and was wondering how i could change this.
Supra rack maybe?
(as you can tell, im completley clueless)

At a guess I'd say your best bet is to find shorter steering arms. Perhaps track down some Chaser arms, they might be shorter? Just a guess though.

Hmm, does anyone on Toymods own a chaser?
Just so i could get an idea of the steering on that car.
