Hi, i wanna know is it possible to change the headlights for my 1980 Corona??....i've asked a mechanic b4 and he said i just cant change the light blubs, i need to change the whole set of headlights and that would cost around $300!!!....is there any other ways, that can make my headlights abit brighter??....my headlights are very dim and is not very bright...any help will be apperciate!!!
i know the corona has the exact same headlight setup as the celica as in sizes but i am unsure if they are a sealed unit or halogen. my 1980 celica has the units where you can change the bulbs. to find out pop oven the frame holding the headlight Assembly in and remove the headlight, take the rubber boot off and if you can replace the bulbs there should be clips on the back of the head light. then it is as simple as undoing them and putting differnt bulbs in.
otherwise its off to auto barn and buy some brand new halogen units for about $100 a pair and they come with bulbs.
