Simple question, can I change the fuel pump to HP fuel pump, while I still use my 4ac engine?
Just want to have some small job done before the conversion?
Thanks.

there is a way to do it but its not a good idea as it can be damaging to your carbie if the pressure isnt regulated properly so save it till u need it. What car is this conversion for?

It's 4AG ->AE86
Not worth the troble IMO. and the fittings on 4ac fuel lines will need to be taking say 60psi to the engine bay, and then dumping it back into tank. the mech fuel pump may not take it.
I know it would be nice to have some jobs done before hand, but you could just burn your car to the ground.
Playing with fuel is not a good idea.

Nah, you don't want to do that. Carbie fuel systems run at around 4-8Psi, whereas fuel injection systems run at around 40-60 Psi, so either the carbie's gonna flood something chronic, or the pump will be so restricted you'll wear it out in a matter of days, if not sooner.
