I've got original 100KW 4age(FWD) engine loom.
I was wondering what do I have to modify the original FWD engine loom to fit into AE86.
Where do I mount the ECU ? If anyone got pic of 100KW in AE86 which shows wiring details that would be great !!
Any help would be greatly appreciated !!
Cheers

Please search the tech docs and article section, might as well look in here http://www.club4ag.com/.
This has been covered heaps before.
To help you out a little.
Mount the ecu under the dash where ever you can get a solid place to mount it.
FWD motor in RWD application require the throttle body to be moved the the other end of the inlet manifold(it will be facing backwards if its not moved), and im guessing the TPS wires will need to be modified.
Do a search bro, its been covered Millions and Millions of times.
Cheers

dude... its a piece of piss. Seriously once you have your hands on the ECU wiring diagrams it should make sense pretty quickly.
Mount the ECU wherever you like.. the only thing i had to extend on the 100KW loom was the THA wires (intake air temp sensor), all the others matched ok.

Mines cable tied to the AC evap., with some delicate mods to the glovebox to make it fit The loom is plenty long enough, and the wiring really is pretty easy...

just thought id add a bit here, as i am about to embark on putting my smallport 4AGE into my sprinter, using a bigport loom and other bits.
i have a 100kw computer and "bits" of the loom, what are my chances of finding loom plugs with long bits of wire attatched? i am thinking of just fitting single wire connectors to each pin from the ECU and then custom wiring the whole lot.
i think i will get it running with the 86kw loom first though, car has been off the road too long.
passenger kick panel eh, cool.

you need to source the 3rd plug yourself. Try a wrecking yard with your ECU in hand and see what fits.
