Well,
This weekend has brought me the fastest time I've yet to run in my celica.
I pulled a successful 12.63 @ 108 MPH at Heathcote raceway on saturday.
Granted it was with slicks, but any road tires I've used before, I just smoke em off the line.

In your signature it says
you had an RA60 that ran 12.4 at 130
is that indeed correct? Cos that's a damn high MPH for 12.4

Well done Stradlater,
I think that lane 2 was the pick for that time of the day... Until the track dried out we saw 2 cars in lane 1 (RX4 & R33) getting a little too close to the wall for comfort!
I was there with the BoostWorx team, (RX3 - 13BT 10:54 @ 138 MPH), but it was good to see a fellow Toymods meber & Celica owner out there. Still prefer circuit racing, but I have respect for the engineering in building a consistant performing drag car.
What sort of HP are you getting out of the 1G-GTE? Are you looking to develop the car any further?

As for HP, I don't know yet.
There is more time in the car, it's just driver ability at the moment that is slowing me down.
Why didn't you come over and say hello?
I thought actually that track 1 ( the one closest to the seating area) was better.
Did you see my blow the axle?
All that power on takeoff and.. Going no where.. Such a 21 second crawl.
I am planning on developing the car more, I'm going to get the head power ported and a few things, so that'll be good.

Sounds like you are keen to get more out of it... sorry for not coming over to chat, I was busy catching up with so many people & some old friends, & we had a nice warm heater & BBQ in our shed too!  (brrrr it was cold there! - good for power, not so good for people though)
So I didn't get much of a chance to walk around the paddock. I did catch up with a fellow Toymods member there though. I will have to come over & check out your machine next time though. It brings back some memories of my 1JZ powered TA-22 (12.071 @ 114mph)
So any chance that you are interested in circuit racing it too? Or only in a straight line?

My main focus is a straight line. Circuit racing isn't really what I've been interested in.
No stress over the lack of visitation on the day. So long as you saw me there.
No, I'll probably not sell it. unless anyone wants a 12 second celica.
As for quick time.. Just come around to my place and view it and the other photos here..
