Very interested, i'm in Melbourne and would like to come and see it asap.
Does it have :
4-wheels discs?
LSD?
Is it currently registered in Victoria? Why did it have the 4A-GE removed in favour of a 4AC carby? Is it a genuine Japanese import Trueno?
Thanks
Dino.

Contact number? I have emailed you. I would like to come and see it.
Don't Trueno's all have 4-wheel disc brakes? they should have a disc brake rear end with LSD??

so basically its got similar specs to an aust AE86? drum rears and solid disk front?

It came with a 4A-GE and LSD rear end, but they were removed and replaced with standard aussie items. The Trueno bits were fitted to a aus-sprinter that was being done up. Doesn't bother me though, as i'll drop in a 20V or a boosted GZE, so 4-AC will get the flick asap
All I got to do is find a disc brake rear end, and it'll be set!
It really is in awesome condition though, extremely straight and 99% rust free! Perfect base for a project car
C'mon Simon, there's got to be a decent one out there for you too? Patience man... Club 86 Nationwide eh?

Yeah I know, but think of it like this. You have an aussie Sprinter, and you've given it a 2pak full respray, done all the suspension, and you get to the conversion part, and a cheap Trueno comes along in japan, PERFECT for all the bits you need for you already well under way Sprinter. Thats the only reason I would do it, if you had already made a big start on a sprinter, because you would get most of the good bits off the Trueno.
Given starting from scratch, no way would you pull the bits off the Trueno for the Sprinter! Doesn't bother me, allows me to choose the engine, and know the history it has had I'm thinking 4A-GTE
Now, anyone got an LSD disc brake rear-end they want to sell to me in Melbourne??
