Okay ive been trying to start this car all day.. its my old GZ10 soarer with the 1g geu and hasnt been started since i got my 1jz.. and ive tried many times but wont start
the last time it ran it started fine but over time you had to hold the ignition on.. would sit for about 4 seconds doing nothing before turning over and starting normally
now ive taken the power steering lines out of it and just taken the induction piping off it but put all induction back on and started fine after that.
checked for spark, has that, fuel pump sounds to be working so im assuming it has fuel and as for air.. theres no reason why it wouldnt be getting that.
checked all fuses and they are all fine
battery was dead but has been charged and it does kick over as stated..
none of the loom has been unplugged since
could i maybe have fucked the AFM?.. and is there any way to bypass that just to see if it starts?
any other idea's?
thanks
My parents want me to get it starting so they can move it whenever

it still could the battery johal...i remember when wilbo and i picked up our sa63 it wouldnt start for a looong amount of tries...it eventually did. Its usually pretty hard to bring back a deceased battery thats all!
Dad's falcon one is dying, and if the car is left for 3-4 days at a time, it wont start either.

where did you check the fuel supply? check it at the fuel filter. if it has fuel then maybe there is something that's not connected somewhere, maybe an earth or something to do with the injectors.

i didnt fully check fuel.. just that the fuel pump was making its usual noise
and nothing has really changed so i dont see why an earth would be gone
i will check it at engine though later in week
easiest way to check injectors?

you'll have to take them out, there's no easy way. if they aren't working then back track. check all your circuits with a multimeter. how did you check for spark? usual lead on head?
