the problem is usually that he's too stupid to realise that he's got the chicks...(i know a few drummers, most could make wood look intellegant...but they drum really good)

Drummers arent all that dumb, I Drum and know of alot of drummers that arent dumb, I am a computer tech and study a double degree at uni, but i spose it is more of a generalisation that anything

hows this for a typical drummer story
many years ago(5 or so  ) i was going to a NOFX gig with some mates, one of which is a drummer
we ALWAYS give him shit about being the typical stupid drummer(truth being, he's an awesome drummer...but he aint the brightest kid out on the block)
anyways, we were at the bus stop, giving him shit about being a typical drummer and that he was probably stupid enough to rock up to the gig wihtout his ticket
to prove us wrong he pulls it out of his wallet...but its not there
so he runs home to get it
and brings back the wrong ticket!!!
anyways
he eventually got his NOFX ticket, we only JUST made the bus
made me laugh at the time...

of course there will be stereotyping, its hard to get away from
it just so happens that of the drummers i know, 4 out of the 5 could be classed brain dead

Bass Player for sure, out of any member of a band, the bass guitarist will always get my vote, they also know how to keep the beat. They usually also have a few extra hidden talents.

if a bass player can slap 'n' pop then they can play their own soundtrack to their rooting.
otherwise, i'd say there's no generalisation. i play in a ska band and the horn players get the most chicks, tho most of the band are in relationships

i would go for bass guitarist if he's playing jazz music. singers for boybands, lead guitarist for heavy metal, drummers for a few category, dj for dance music, manager for girlband...
but really, i think club djs should be getting more 'goodies'...
if i am a spectator..i wouldnt even give a shit looking at the basist, unless he's slapping it all around playing jazz..
