Hey these are cool cars, i have the engine from one of these my Galant and it goes very hard. Auto versions have 230hp standard, manual versions are 250hp. Its pratically an evo3 in a van body (same drive train as far as i know).
Anyway, useless post so have a free bump

This model basically has the VR4 Galant engine and no front mount only a top mount
97 Hypersportsgear R has the full EVO3 running gear from Turbo / engine / Gearbox etc and has 280ps in standard form and yes they also have the EVO3 Front mount and Full recaro interior
I love mine to bits , beats the GTi-R amongst others i have owned

No..this model also has the EvoIII engine, main difference is in the front mount, and the turbo..td04 instead of td05.
But yeah...they do go damn hard, especially with the light mods I have placed on it. The other difference between the hypersportz, and the sportsgear is one you attract attention and look somewhat ricey, the other you keep getting the thumbs up from SS commodore drivers when you dust them *grin*

Yeah...mine has the first model recaro style seats..Still very nice.
Hopefully yours will dust a bit more than a lousy GTIR...I take on GTR's!!! (Literally!) SS, 180sx, s14, s15, wrx, etc all without too much trouble..If they have a heap of mods they can take me (The weight of the RVR) but with 169KW factory (With the most restrictive exhausts known to mankind..mine had 2 cats, 2 mufflers, and 3 resonators originally..) they are fun..
Anyone know how many KW a wrx has these days from the factory?

Kinda scary to think subaru only has that level of power in 2004...
The RVR in 1994 had 169kw and 290nm....oh well, probably why I don't want a wrx...

Yeah, you'd probably have to look at it this way, they dont *need* anymore power. Think about how many WRX's got sold compared to RVR?

Heh...just comparing 2 litre turbo engines..not cars..
The RVR is definately in a niche market.
Saying that I am only selling so I can finance a little project car based around the biggest Toyota production car engine..Time for a change I think.
