Hey all, luckily I have come to realise Toyota fanatics contain a shitload of the smartest dudes there are, and alot have knowledge in IT etc.
I am semi-competent with PC's.
And I am currently running XP Pro.
Only bug rite now is explorer, the taskbar etc etc keeps crashing. As in dissapearing and reloading.
Anyone know why or what may cause it or fix it?

details written above... only two that I can't work out what they are for!
I just searched Windows Startup
AND
The Tasklist Programs from AnswersThatWork.com
I would say that rather than having a virus or spyware you just generally have too much crap running!
A format would probably do your machine some good.

Personally, I'd kill that change wallpaper.exe. It's probably the cause of the "refreshing" that is going on.

theres a conflict manager somewhere in windows find that i it could assess any problems with software which could make that crash otherwise make sure you've got the latest updates incase there was a problem with something.
If all else fails get linux

the only way i would it was when i used "tweak xp" and it had a button that opened it up.
Does it come up with a "send error report" when it crashes all the time?
But i guess it would be is that you or a program might of deleted something in a "windows" or program files directory and every time it goes to search for it, it crashes.
