from teh factory 2T-GEU's only did a 115hp,and im preety sure that was at the fly wheel so you cant be to far off.(this is just off teh top of my head so dont take it for gospel)
what have you got your timing at?
on mine i run about 18deg (advanced)
this made a huge differance.
i am also running all stock except exaust with headers and k&N airfilter.
i also have my computer grounded ,but have never touched teh vacum advance on my dizzy.
i have never put mine on the dyno cos im not realy interested.teh out put aint gonn abe that huge so ill save my self some cash.
when teh 1G-GZE in goes in however...

no i dont have an o2 sensor eitehr yet.ive got a line on one and im just waiting for price confirmation.
what i assumed with my computer,is make sure the case its in is grounded as well as all the engine bay grounds being in very good nick with good contacts.
when you say idles to high, how high is it idling?
in my green t series manual (carb version only)it states an idle speed of 1000rpm.
my car happily idles here and lower, but 1000 is good for me.
how high is yours idling now at 13deg?
cheers,
Dom

wel at 12 degrees i can get the idle to stay close to 1000, sometimes 1250
but if i advance the timing, the revs just go up with it

have you tried to advance the timing and then reset your idle speed??
theres a big plastic screw on the intake pleneum you wind it in and out to make teh idle go up and down.
have you adjusted that?
with that you can advance your timing and then put your idle speed back down.

Dom

yeh ive tried everything
i think im having problems with my airflowmeter
cuz the idle tends to fluctuate (going up and down) when the cars warm.

mm.
thats interesting.
my car used to do that.
i ended up disconecting the water flow to the front of teh pleneum (where the butterfly is)and it went away.
go figure.
have you had your injectors cleaned?
cehck out all your spark aswell.
sometimes that can cause the 'hunting'
what it is s teh computer adjusting teh mixture trying to fidn teh right spot.
mmm,ill have a anotehr think and look at my engien and see if i can come up with anything.
cheers,
Dom

thanks buddy, yeh il try blocking off the water hose to the throttle body. i noticed theres 2 vaccuum connections on the throttle body that must be blocked off or something, they have no vaccum in em.
yeh my ecu isnt mounted yet, its just sitting on the parcel tray, so il try mounting it to a ground source might help too.
the guy at at the carby place sed the injectors are fine and its the afm.
he adjusted it and it was good, untill i started driving it that is.
now if its hunting, and i turn off the engine for a bit, and let it cool for about 10 mins, and start driving, it wont be hunting until i start driving again
its really weird and got me baffled
