just wonderin what times u guys rekon an ae82 with a 100kw 4age engine would be hitting? the stock SX and GTi are spose to do 0-100 in 9.5ish.
for teh ae82 with the 100kw:
0-100kph, i rekon low 9's.
dunno bout quarters.
another question, how quick do u think that would come down to with basic cams, exhaust, extractors, CAI, maybe a little headwork, but still using stock computer.
i rekon it could get down to mid 8's.

not many people rate the 0-100 speed, since its too difficult to measure accurately.
A far more accurate comparison is the 1/4 mile time and trap speed. I think an AE92 with 100kw 4A-GE would porbably do a high 16 sec.
My AE71 does a high 15 sec, but its a good 300-400kg lighter.

ok then, what quarter mile time are we looking at???
my friend has a VL commodore with a reco engine, and extractors/exhaust system (its also a manual). im wondering how the 100kw ae82 would fair against it if it was a stock 100kw engine.
this VL feels very quick, and i think it would be very close.
