Gt4 parts available soon ( some Grp A bits ) Fri, 25 June 2004 02:48 Go to next message
Just a few of the bits i have coming up for grabs soon - if anyones interested

Grey st185 Gt4 bonnet Excellent condition , + hood lining still intact ( no it wont fit a st162 or st204)

St185 Aus Spec Gearbox + shifter - Syncros a bit worn but otherwise in VGC

Group A 3sgte Gen 2 cams ( stock )

Rear Gt4 calipers + rotors

Group A oil cooler - ( bent ) but still works

Possibly a Group A st185 Water to Air heat exchanger ( part of the water to air intercooler setup , but not the actual charge cooler core )

Group A St185 Final drive ratio gears ( 3.9 )

If anyones interested plese note here

Victorian buyers preferred otherwise freight at Buyers expense.

if you care to go thru all the freight yards in melbournwe and find out which bastard stole my other complete water to air setup - go for it !

I have another coming in from japan - that as far as i know is complete - so the heat exchanger is an extra i may not need

Any other takers on bits ?

Just a thought about this mate, being that it is a water exchanger, you can run these in series/parallel without seeing any downside. (unlike turbos, which will cause a huge pressure drop by using 2 in series) Only thing is the stock waterpump might not be strong enough to push thru 2 water exchangers. It'd be better then the a single 205 heat exchanger. And i don't think it'd take up much more room.

Food for thought.

had thought about it but if i was to go bigger in capacity idf look at a larger more efficient single core ..

theres plenty of room behind the Grp A bumper for a frontmount - or a HUGE heat exchanger Wink

I know just how much space is behind that RC front bar Very Happy I know a guy who lives near here who has an assortment of ST185/ST205 WTA intercoolers, ill be snapping one up when my GT4 is purchased... In the meantime i wait.
