*SOLD* 18R-G Head + injection manifold f/s Sat, 26 June 2004 02:39 Go to next message
Alright. I've got an 88253 head with the standard 88270 injection manifold on it. It's got large cams (never knew the specs, but they were lumpy. Cams came on at 4000-4500 and went to 7000rpm.

The head is missing the cam gears and gear retaining bolts (accidentally left them in the boot of my Celica when I had it towed away).

Manifold has standard injectors and a Falcon fuel pressure regulator. There is no loom and no computer.

I also have an R-GEU air flow meter with uni-filter ram pod (needs a new filter element). The spring tension in the AFM was adjusted to suit the big cams on the above head.

I have both R-G rocker cover styles.

Lastly, I have the R-G electronic distributor.

All of this I'm giving away for $300. I've got a guy who told me he'd buy the bits, but he's screwing me around.

Head was only removed because the bottom end failed. (Thanks to the dodgy prick who built it).

Call me on 0439 60 20 60 for any details. I live in Western syd and work in Hornsby, so may be able to arrange to drop parts off if convenient.

Omegaman, what do you need the numbers on the cams for? I'll get back to you sometime this arvo with the numbers. They're standard cams that have been reground. ~3mm shims were needed to get correct valve clearances.

Would you be interested to split some of these things up?

u would probably make more than $300 selling individual parts.

i'm interested in the cams. Any problem posting them to tassie?, i pay postage of course.

What was the idle like with those cams?

Cheers
Chris

It's all been sold and I don't have another thermo housing. As of today I am finally rid of all my Celica parts - well that is except for an RA23 front grille.
