help me rebuild my 5k engine!!

i am currently re-building a 5K engine, when finished it will go into my '75 ke30. are there other rebuild mods apart from head ported/polished, cam, piston rings, extractors etc. that i could do to make it go just that little bit harder?? thanks.

get some solid lifters and custom push rods and run the 3k 4k adjustable rockers. This will help it rev just a bit harder.

cool that sounds good, would a 7k head help too? as much as i would like to drop a 4agze in, i dont have the money to do such a big conversion....
