Regular South Aus. Events Tue, 29 June 2004 06:50 Go to next message
I just thought I'd try to bring everyone's attention to the local events that are run by various club's that you can bring your road cars to and try out.

If anyone has any suggestions and can post up a link, a phone number or an email address to contact about regular local events then just put it up here and I'll try to organise a sticky thread.

Anyway to get the ball rolling (I've posted some of these before elsewhere)

Oh yeah, if anyone would like to sort of be a 'go-to' for newbs in regards to events and details then put your hand up...I've had plenty of experience at the rallysprints held by walky (as I am a club member) so as such if anyone has any questions about it then contact/email me etc...if anyone else would like to do the same for other events that they've had experience with then that'd be nice.

(hint - we really should look at setting up an SA toymods branch)

Hey all, i have been involved with drags since i was two. I also have been working there for about six years (started when i was 11 and am now 18) it is a great place to test your car and watch other insane racing cars go down the track.

I know that the entrace fee is steep but if you can get in a few races it is well worth it. If anyone is intrested well you can ring the number above, and for all who know what it is like please post and encourage others.

There is also the tri series, it is help in three diffrent locations. All tracks are 1/8 track (200 meters) and it is well worth it. the three tracks are mildura coonawara and whyalla. There is proze money and national recognition for the winners.

If anyone is intrested pm me and i can pass on some extra infomation.

Defect.
