What do you consider a bargain?

Pardon the expression, but I wouldn't piss on that wreck for $2500.
You could never rebuild it, because the heat-stress will have made all the metal structurally useless. The engine looks to be sadly afflicted by heat as well. -an understatement I know......
If the exterior panels were intact, you could take measurements and moulds to make an exact replica, but . . . nope. not much there either
Give it up people - you can buy the plans to make a Diablo Replica, hell - you can even get the fibreglass panels freighted to you, so you can plonk them down on your spaceframe. That's where I'd be sticking MY $2500.

I reckon that'd be a mad project car, end up costing less than the retail price.
Love the expression, "slightly used...had a brake problem"
This bloke must be loaded, he's got another one standing next to it (if it's his)

All the metal on the car would be useless without cleaning, annealing and re-tempering, including the alloy rims.
Like I said before, This wreck's no use to anyone. Even if you got it for free, the novelty would wear off in a few months, and you'd want that patch of lawn back!
The joy of cars for me, is in the motion, and the promise of performance that a fast car gives. No motion or promise left in this sad carcass.....

I like looking at this GT40 MUCH more, Replica or not!
