Hi all,

After my first car... To be straight right off the bat I won't be sold a lemon. I will be having any potential cars looked over by reliable mechanics I trust (my father if in Brisbane, my step fathers mechanic for the last 25 years if on the coast).

Let me assure you I am a genuine buyer, I have cash on hand.

Must meet the following requirments:

4cyl
4-5 door
Mech good with no work needed
Body good also with no work needed, definately no rust.
Auto or manual fine, no preference.

I have around $0-$4000 to spend. Safety cert, RWC and registration would be an advantage. Pictures a must.

Have been checking all those out though nothing has jumped out at me.

This 87 corona im looking at may still be an option. I was told they are rare. Yet over the last 3 days I have seen 4 of them in a single town close to me. They mustn't be too rare Wink

hey man what part of the coast are you from..whats the story with the lemon? if u dont mind me asking..i brought a celica for my first car..3 weeks after i bought it it blew up then i rebuild it and it blew up again then rebuilt it again and ..yeh Crying or Very Sad

I have an auto 1992 camry in syd, 208,000 kms, sedan, central locking and bridgestone turanza tyres, with 11 months NSW rego, would consider selling for between 3 and 4 k.

While my Camry (88 SV20) requires repairs, the initial capital investment (Selling price) is quite reasonable... $500.
Interior is perfect, suspension requires replacement/recond., clutch could use replacement, and a new gearbox couldn't hurt (but that's being really picky).
All in all, $500 + $1800 + $800 paperwork is a sound amount.
I will post pics if you show any further interest.

EDIT: Brisbane is probably too far south, sorry mate...
