Break-in No.2 Sun, 08 September 2002 01:44 Go to next message
My Celica was stolen from Penrith Station carpark last night. Pic here: http://www.luc1d.net/other/dynoday_2_2002/image31. html
It's a red RA23, grey interior, missing the boot lock, plates are XSM 684. Looks pretty much the same as it does in the pic, except now it has those chrome rings on the wheels.
It's got almost perfect front and rear bumpers, the front grille has those rectangular shapes in it chromed (pretty rare) and the bonnet is straight.

I spent a grand on it for rego last week, so this really shits me.

If anyone sees the car, give me a call on 0403 97 4409

The people at the station weren't too helpful. They couldn't even give me the number for Penrith police. I parked right near the stairs, so if there's a camera there, it would have caught my car being stolen. I'll have to look into that.

Yep. Got a call from Mt Druitt police this afternoon. It's been found in the old Civil Air Services compund (or something like that) off Stoney creek road. It's been completely burn out. 30 odd cds, 18R-G factory adjustable cam gears, my Clarion cd player, Izzy's swaybar brackets, my mates drum stand, 2 straight bumpers and a good bonnet f**king gone. The only good thing about it is that the cops said I didn't have to tow it away. I can leave it there. So if anyone wants so sift through the ashes and find some RG cam gears, you're quite welcome. You won't see me owning a Celica for a while.

Nah, no insurance on it. Comprehensive for me costs twice as much as the car.

That's gay man... Go back to the train station and demand the video camera tapes of that night if they are still there...

I reckon the worst thing that can happen is for a car to get torched...

Having your car torched would be the best thing I reckon! Of course only if you are fully insured!!

There is nothin worse than having some prick fang your car around over gutters and the like bending anything and everything on and under the car!
