to anyone who has had their A340e auto gearbox shift kitted, does this get rid of the normal spluttering that soarers and other cars have when changing gears at high revs. (safety feature)
Did you get the manual gear changing buttons? how are they to drive with?
Has anyone got it done by someone other than MV automatics? I would rather not have to send a gearbox to Adelaide. Thanks

To have the box 'shift kitted' you only need to sent the valvebody down to mike-you only send the box if you're having the clutches and stuff upgraded.

sorry, I meant the whole strengthening job as well.
That is what you got done right?
So my original questions relate to shift kitted and strengthened A340e's.
thanks

talk to BGA {bob grant automatics} and precise automatics, they both do very hardcore race boxes, so they know their shit
