Garage sale - RA28, 3TGTE, etc. Sat, 03 July 2004 07:51 Go to next message
Well I am moving house soon so have to clean up the garage.

Here are some items for sale, and i'm sure i'll have more to come.

Sub box to fit in the back of RA28, holds 2x 10" subs and has a recessed section in the middle for an amp. It is sealed. Fits nicely behind the back seat and still leaves some boot room.

Joel - i could potentially be interested in that custom boxy thingy. What sort of $$ you looking for it... i can see there is a fair bit of work there, so im guessing you want a fair bit.

Is that flat bit towards the rear of the box solid, or just carpet?

This good be interesting.....

... i really cant be stuffed making a whole one myself...

Hey mate, yeah shit loads of work went into it, about 3 days solid from memory! Just trying to get it fitting over the shock towers but retaining as much internal air space as possible.

The back bit is a new piece of MDF or MFD can never remember Smile with carpet over it. It doesn't take up the whole boot area and originally had a extra side bit. It was 2 piece as when 1 piece you couldn't get it out of the car due to the odd shape of the RA28. I dont have that second bit anymore but would be easy to make up. It basically just covers the right hand corner where there already is a metal boxed area. I hope that makes sense!

In the center there is a section just the right size to put an oddessey battery into also Smile that is accessable when you put the back seat down. I guess the pictures show that better.

Anyway, i reckon $90 is fair? Due to the work put into it. Let me know what you think.

Cheers
Joel

Sorry should have updated this but surge tank is sold.

I had it in the engine bay originally. Sat down on the driver side under the overflow/washer bottle. I purchased it from Stuart Wilkins Rally.

I also have to do something about fuel smells.. Really want internal pump setup. I have a RA60 tank, be nice if that could be made to fit.

Cheers
Joel
