Sure that hasn't been photoshopped?
Couldn't see anyone doing an inline 8 due to the crank twist,as for what to put it in it would need to have a bloody long front on it.
Just can't see it myself. It's got to be a shopped pic.

i would think that the 3jz would still be and inline 6, wouldn't it change the engine series if there were 2 more cilinders.
just a thought.

For fuck's sake so someone's photoshopped 3JZ onto the side of a truck motor, lets move on.
Like, there's a complete assembled 3JZ short motor sitting on a crate somewhere outside that people are just walking up to to photograph and post on the internet. K then.

Last time I seen an inline 8 was in an old Buick - smooth as silk engine.
Photoshopped until proven otherwise though.
In the Sprintah - of course. I reckon that it would fit in the KE20 - with 4 x turbos and a 13speed road ranger gearbox and 9" diff.

if you look closer that "3" is a fair bit smaller font than the other..just the thickness of the printing.
Why not two t88s jason? Im sure we could always cut into the firewall if we couldnt extend the front more? for your corolla i mean

if i fit it to my sprintah van, will it be drift spec then? Do i have to install a JDM diff?
.... not a bad chop for a quick fix But the 3 cylinders to the rigth give it away, and which pistons are up vs down.

I think they are identical
And look at the bolt hole...why the hell would someone have a single bolt hole back on the 7th cylinder? A starter motor requires a bit more attachment than that

In my experience all the different cars ive owned, the starter motor has always bolted through the bellhousing onto the rear block face, not the side of the block. Any thoughts here?

what else would a a bolt hole that far back be for?
Unless it was a brace or something...i know, in my experience also, bellhousings are what the starters bolt to.
might be a big ass earth cable holt thread

I went in one of those old Buick inline 8's - it was incredibly smooth.
Yes photoshopped. There are plenty of clues if you look carefully. There is a clear partition line between cylinders 5 and 6. The shadow is also a little short.
Posted for fun.
Cheers fellas.
